Jennifer Chernecki is a visual artist, designer and museum professional currently making her home and studio in Salmon Arm. She makes it back to Vancouver, her previous home of 20 years, often.

She graduated from the Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design in 2008, where she focused her studio practice in oil painting, sculpture and performance-based projects. She has shown her work widely in the lower mainland and is now enjoying exploring the Okanagan and Shuswap art scene.

Jennifer also has extensive teaching experience and she recently began teaching at Faces, a project of the Arts Council of the South Shuswap as well as offering private classes in the lower level studio at the Salmon Arm Arts Centre.
